Lisa Rosen

Lisa Rosen (* 1975 in Neuss ) is a German educationalist .

Life

From 2001 to 2005 she was a research assistant at the chair for intercultural education ( Georg Auernheimer ) at the University of Cologne and a scholarship holder of the University of Cologne's graduate program. From 2005 to 2008 she was a research assistant at the chair for intercultural educational research at the University of Cologne as well as in the third-party funded projects "'The Best of All Worlds" - a simulation game for civic education among educationally disadvantaged young people with a migration background "(funded by the Federal Agency for Political Education) and" Evaluation of the bilingual day care centers of Caritas in Cologne ”(funded by the Caritas Association Cologne) under the direction of Hans-Joachim Roth (University of Cologne). From 2008 to 2010 she was a research assistant at the internship center of the human sciences faculty of the University of Cologne and in the third-party funded project "Evaluation of supplementary educational language teaching for secondary school students with a migration background" (funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Hans-Joachim Roth (University of Cologne). From 2010 to 2015 she was junior professor for social sciences with a focus on communication and social intervention at the Institute for Comparative Educational Research and Social Sciences, Faculty of Human Sciences, University of Cologne. Since 2017 she has been teaching as a university professor for educational science at the Department of Educational and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne.

Her focus is on social inequalities, education and diversity in youth and adolescence, differential-sensitive professionalization, professionalism and school development in migration societies, migration-related multilingualism in families and (inclusive) schools and research-based learning based on qualitative and internationally comparative educational research in migration societies.
