Lisbon Agenda Group

The Lisbon Agenda Group ( LAG ) is an informal group of high-level academics and advisors who were fundamentally involved in the development of the Lisbon Strategy , complemented by other experts. It has existed since 2004, but dates back to 2000. The chair is Maria João Rodrigues , the "mother of the Lisbon strategy". The aim of the LAG is to further develop the Lisbon Strategy in accordance with the original idea on the one hand and the changed circumstances on the other. Although the LAG works very closely with the EU , it is independent of the EU and may fund itself. a. through a research project by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
