Lispund

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lispfund , sometimes also entered in the literature as the Liespfund , was an old trade weight and, as a derived quantity from the pound, very different from region to region. It was a smaller measure of the ship's pound . It was valid in the same regions as the ship pound, i.e. in Germany , here in the larger cities and the port cities, Sweden , Denmark , Russia and the Netherlands . In addition to the larger ship pound, a different number of pound pounds was found as a subordinate unit.

Examples of dimensional relationships were prevalent

  • 1 pound = 1/20 pound, sometimes more or less of the measure.
  • 8 Föring = 1 bed = 40 fish = 5 Liespfund (Danish)

The Lispund itself weighed between 280 and 400 pounds, which was often three hundred pounds for the region.
