The range of courses is divided into the five subject areas of fine arts, theater and dance, music, design and architecture, and art education. The university has three different locations in the Reykjavík metropolitan area. Music, theater and dance are housed in the building on Sölvhólsgata, design and architecture on Skipholt. The Fine Arts building is just outside, near the Laugarnes recreation area.
At the moment it is only possible to obtain a master’s degree in music and art education. The other courses are shown as Bachelor courses.
