List of Austrian champions in firn gliding
The list of Austrian champions in firngliding lists all athletes who have achieved an Austrian championship in firngliding . In the first few years only one title was awarded in slalom, since 1989 a giant slalom and a combination has also been held. In 1990 the Austrian Federal Sports Organization recognized firngliding as a separate discipline, and since then official state championship titles have been awarded.
By 2012, 22 men and 25 women had won at least one championship title. The record winners are Ignaz Ganahl , who was champion 22 times from 1984 to 1997, and Simona Höllermann , who won 19 titles from 1998 to 2012.
