This list shows all the mayors of the city of Las Vegas in the US state of Nevada on since the official founding of the town in the 1911th
The incumbent mayor is Carolyn Goodman , born in 1939 , the wife of former mayor Oscar B. Goodman , who officially took office on July 6, 2011. After the mayors mostly had shorter terms of office with a maximum of four years in the first four decades, the length of the terms of office and the re-elections increased from the 1950s. The longest-serving mayor was Oran K. Gragson , who served four terms from 1959 to 1975, followed by William H. Briare (1975 to 1987) and the aforementioned Oscar B. Goodman (1999 to 2011) with three each Terms of office and, accordingly, twelve years.
