General
Nienhagen was founded between 1227 and 1235. In the 1930s, a large part of German oil was produced here.

Oil rigs | Drilling for oil began here in the early 20th century. In 1938 350,000 tons of oil were produced. Of these conveyor systems, only two drilling rigs from 1935 and 1937 are still standing. The towers are steel framework constructions. |
