List of the study commissions of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament
The list of study commissions of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Parliament includes the study commissions that the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Parliament has set up since 1990.
The right of inquiry to set up an inquiry commission by the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament is not a minority right, but requires a majority decision. In the second, third, fifth and sixth electoral terms, study commissions were set up.
In the fourth electoral term, there was instead a special committee on "Administrative Modernization and Functional Reform", which prepared a forerunner of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania regional reform in 2011 that was stopped by the state constitutional court .
