List of interior and culture ministers of Bhutan
The following list shows all of Bhutan 's Interior and Culture Ministers who have headed the Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture of the Kingdom of Bhutan since it was first set up as the Ministry of Home Affairs in 1968 .
In view of the increasing number of development activities, at its 28th session on May 20, 1968 , the National Assembly recognized the need to set up a Council of Ministers and appointed Lyonpo Tamzing Jagar as the first Minister of the Interior ( Kidu Lyonpo ). In 2004, the Commission of Cultural Affairs was merged with the Ministry of the Interior and the ministry was renamed the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs .
