Pavilion at the waterworks The small representative building was built in 1892 above the Wandsbeker waterworks, which was built at the same time, by the Wandsbeker master mason Heinrich Kock as a partially plastered masonry structure with a wooden veranda. Under a cross-shaped gable roof covered with tar paper there is an approx. 20 m² main room, an 8 m² kitchen, a toilet and the stairs to the converted attic. Until the Second World War, the pavilion served Wandsbeck officials and their families as a holiday home, during and after the war as an apartment for bombed out and refugees and is now occasionally used by the forest administration as a meeting room.
