The tower was built in 1903 according to the plans of the Kiel architect Voigt. The conically tapering brick shaft is clad with granite in the base zone. A wreath of blind arcades forms the transition to the brick masonry. Another arcade wreath is located below the tower head, which originally contained an Intze-1 water tank with a capacity of 225 m³.
