St. Andreas in Nieder Eulau in today's urban area of Szprotawa, since 1318 under the patronage of the Magdalenerinnen

The list includes places and parts of localities that were owned by the Magdalenerinnenkloster Sprottau . The monastery was founded in 1289 as a subsidiary of Naumburg am Queis in Beuthen an der Oder in the Duchy of Glogau . As early as 1314 the monastery was moved to Sprottau am Bober . It remained in the Duchy of Glogau. Even after the Reformation , in contrast to the communities in the area, some of the inhabitants of the monastery towns remained Catholic. During the Counter-Reformation around 1670 all Protestant churches in the Duchy of Glogau were closed again. After the First Silesian War in 1742, the Prussian area came and the duchy was dissolved in 1807 as part of the Prussian administrative reform. The monastery was secularized in 1810 and its property was lost. The former monastery locations are now in the Polish Lubusz Voivodeship .
