List of regiments of the Lower Rhine-Westphalian Imperial Circle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lower Rhine-Westphalian Imperial Circle consisted of a large number of medium and small imperial estates. The circle was also divided into different Catholic and Lutheran classes. It was particularly difficult to integrate the Brandenburg-Prussian territories into the district order. The old Prussian state finally withdrew entirely from the responsibility of the district.
