Stumbling Stone Adolf Otto Herz.jpg On September 27, 1942, Adolf Otto and his wife Johanna Herz, whose last freely chosen apartment was Am Stiftswingert 19, were deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto. The deportation list is cynically headed “Relocation to Theresienstadt”. Adolf Otto Herz perished from the miserable conditions and hunger there on November 28, 1942 at the age of 72, his wife at the age of 63 on January 2, 1943.
