List of Mongolian epics
This is a list of Mongolian epics . Among the most famous Mongolian epics include the Gezer - Khan - epic (or in many versions of popular epic cycles), the Erdeni Bum and Jianggar ( Kalmyks ).
The Gesar epic and the Jianggar (or Dschangar / Dshangar / Janggar / Jangar / Jiangyar / Җанhр / 江 格尔 etc.) - epic are on the list of the intangible cultural heritage of the People's Republic of China .
According to Rinchendorji, in addition to Jianggar and Geser, more than 550 Mongolian epics and variants of small and medium length have been recorded.
