Entrance of the Literaturhaus Wien

The Literaturhaus Wien is a center for Austrian contemporary literature .

It was opened in the autumn of 1991 in Vienna , Neubau (7th district) , Seidengasse 13, at the corner of Zieglergasse.

It houses

• the documentation center for recent Austrian literature ,

• the interest group of Austrian authors ,

• the interest group translators, translators and

• the Austrian library in exile .
