Liz Weir

Liz Weir is a Northern Irish children's author and storyteller.

Life

After working as a librarian in Belfast , she has worked as a children's author and storyteller since the 1980s. Her narrative journeys took her mainly to Israel , Australia , Canada and the USA . In addition to collections of stories, she also published audio books and worked as a storyteller for television and the BBC radio station, among others.

Liz Weir is the recipient of the National Storytelling Network's International Storybridge Award.

The author lives and works in Cushendall, Northern Ireland.
