A Llaüt ( pronunciation : [ ʎauʈ ]), or Llagut , is originally a small wooden boat from the Catalan regions of the Mediterranean. The boat was often equipped with a latin sail and oars. Its design is said to go back to early Egyptian boat shapes.

In the Balearic Islands , the Llaüts were the usual fishing boats. Almost all of them are now equipped with an engine. The original ship shape of the Llaüt is now slightly modified in Mallorca as a smaller motor yacht with up to six berths.
