Kevin Sommer (born November 8, 1989 in Mulhouse ) is a French football player, on the position of goalkeeper. He is currently under contract with the Belgian third division club FC Bleid .

Career

Kevin Sommer started playing football in his native Alsace . His first club was a club of the ASTR Wittenheim . Later, Sommer went to the youth of the SR Colmar .

He later left Alsace and joined CS Louhans-Cuiseaux as a youth .

Kevin Sommer came back to Alsace in 2007 to work for the then first division team Racing Strasbourg . In his first season he was not used in the professional team or in the reserve. In the second season he came on 18 missions in the reserve. In the following season, summer came to his first appearances in the professional team, which now only played in Ligue 2 . He made his professional debut on August 7, 2009 when he came on as a substitute for Stéphane Cassard in the 78th minute on the first day of Ligue 2, against LB Châteauroux .

He was also used in the next three match days. The use on August 21, 2009, when he on the fourth match day, against AC Ajaccio , was also his last appearance for the professional team. The professional team rose to the end of the season in the third division.

In 2010, Sommer went to local rivals FC Mulhouse , where he only made ten appearances. For the 2011/12 season, Sommer moved abroad and joined the Belgian third division club FC Bleid .
