Louhans-Cuiseaux FC

The Louhans-Cuiseaux Football Club is a French football club from the Burgundian neighboring towns Louhans and Cuiseaux , southeast of Chalon-sur-Saone in Saône-et-Loire area.

It was created in 1970 through the merger of Club Sportif Louhannais (founded 1916) and Club de Cuiseaux (founded 1930), until 1989 as Club Sportif Cuiseaux-Louhans , until 2013 under the name Club Sportif Louhans-Cuiseaux and since then - after a merger with the FC Louhans  - as Louhans-Cuiseaux FC . The club colors are red and yellow; the league team plays in the Parc des Sports du Bram in Louhans, which has a capacity of 8,400 seats. Curiously, the club's stadium has more seats than the town has inhabitants.

League affiliation

Louhans-Cuiseaux had professional status from 1995-2003. First class ( Division 1 , renamed Ligue 1 since 2002 ), the club has not yet played, but was represented in the second division for many years ; In 2016/17 he plays in the fifth class CFA2 .
