Way of the Cross in Loburg

The Loburger Kreuzweg is located in Loburger Park in Ostbevern . The fourteen stations of the cross in Loburger Park were built by the St. Michael group of the Federal New Germany and inaugurated on March 22, 1964. The design of the individual station pictures was taken over by a high school graduate from the Collegium Johanneum born in 1962, Franz Josef Heukamp. The flat reliefs on cement are inserted into the front on low brick blocks.

The Way of the Cross through the park is very popular in Ostbevern. Especially during Holy Week , a youth cross with a priest is regularly held.
