Loch of Yarrows is a Scottish freshwater lake . It is located in the traditional county of Caithness in the Highland Council Area about 8 kilometers southeast of Wick .
Loch of Yarrows is about 1100 m long and on average about 500 m wide. The shores of the lake are uninhabited and appear entirely as grassland. On the west bank are the remains of a Broch - a windowless Iron Age tower, the function of which has not yet been fully clarified.
The Loch of Yarrows is a fishing area that is particularly popular for trout .
