Loeillet is a Belgian family of musicians from the Baroque period .

  • Jean-Baptiste François Loeillet (1653–1685), father of John Loeillet and Jacques Loeillet
  • Pierre Loiellet (1674–1743), violinist at St. Bavo's Cathedral in Ghent
  • John Loeillet (born Jean-Baptiste Loeillet ; 1680–1730), composer, harpsichordist, flutist and oboist
  • Jacques Loeillet (1685–1748), a half-brother of John Loeillet, was initially oboist in the court orchestra of Maximilian II. Emanuel (Bavaria) in Brussels, which he followed in 1725 to Munich. Later he had a job at the French court as an oboist in the “Chambre du Roi” in Versailles. Here he also appeared as an illusionist and magician. In 1728 he published two collections “Sonata da chiesa” op. 4 and op. 5 in Paris.
  • Jean-Baptiste Loeillet de Gant (1688– ~ 1720), composer and flautist
  • Étienne-Joseph Loeillet (1715–1797), a half-brother of Jean-Baptiste Loeillet de Gant, was a violinist and organist at the cathedral in Brussels. An application for the position of court music director to succeed Ignaz Vitzthumb was unsuccessful.
