The Lohmühle was a watermill in Cologne-Mülheim an der Strunde .

history

In the literature, the mill is only mentioned very sparsely with its function as a tinder mill . You stood on Lohmühlenstrasse. A little below the Rhine in the area around today's Deutz-Mülheimer Strasse, the tanners cleaned their raw animal skins and prepared them for further processing. Floods and heavy thunderstorms repeatedly cleaned the riverside streets polluted by garbage.
