Lomena Protected Landscape Area

The Lomena landscape protection area (lit. Lomenos kraštovaizdžio draustinis ) is a landscape protection area ( kraštovaizdžio draustinis ) in Lithuania . It is located in the districts of Jonava and Kaišiadorys . The territory is 1043 ha. Managed is the Valley of Lomena (left tributary of the Neris ), their landscape (erosion forms), the areas with wet gray alder forests and Salpen meadows, with a rich variety of flora and fauna. The protected area was established by the state in 1997.
