London Ten Power Pact
The London Ten Power Pact , signed on May 5, 1949, established the Council of Europe . The signatories were Belgium , Denmark , France , Ireland , Italy , Luxembourg , the Netherlands , Norway , Sweden and the United Kingdom . It is currently considered to be the statute of the Council of Europe.
