The company was founded in Hamel , Minnesota in 1954 .
Since September 2014, there has been a 51% stake in the British special vehicle manufacturer Railway Vehicle Engineering (RVEL). In July 2016 Loram took over the company completely changed its name to it in Loram UK Ltd .
Products
Loram produces rail grinding trains (series C, L, RG and RGI), ballast cleaning machines (series SBC) and trencher machines (series DC). The company also offers their use as a service.
