Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain in Indiana Beach ( Monticello , Indiana , USA ) was a wooden roller coaster made by the park itself and opened on June 8, 2002. At the end of 2019, it was closed along with the rest of the park.
In 1978, Superstition Mountain was opened as a Dark Ride and was electrically powered . It was then rebuilt by Custom Coasters International for the 2002 season and provided with a vertical lift in the form of an elevator , which made it possible for the trains to overcome the rest of the route using their own energy. Each train had two cars. Seat belts were used as a restraint system.
