Loup House

Loup House is a country house north of the village of Clachan on the peninsula Kintyre in Scotland administrative unit Argyll and Bute . The MacAlister clan chiefs once lived on the property . The clan chief still calls himself the MacAlister of Loup today . Sir William Mackinnon, 1st Baronet , bought the property in 1867.

Castle

A fortified dwelling or castle used to exist on the site, but it is not known when this building was built.
