FC St. Mirren

Love Street (actually St. Mirren Park ) is located on Love Street in Paisley , Scotland , and was the home of St. Mirren FC . The club had been using the stadium since 1895, previously they were based at Fullerton Park Stadium. Love Street recently had a total capacity of 10,800 seats, but the record is 47,438 visitors and was achieved in a game against Celtic Glasgow in 1949 .

FC St. Mirren has built a new stadium on Greenhill Road in Ferguslie Park, to finance this, the old site on Love Street was sold to Tesco . The new stadium is also called St. Mirren Park and was opened on January 31, 2009.

Grandstands

The main stand is on the south side of the stadium, but it is shorter than the pitch. The West Stand, also known as Laidlaw Scott , is the largest stand reserved for guests. At the northern end is the North Bank where the loudest fans of FC St. Mirren usually gather. The newest grandstand is to the east, just off Love Street and is called Reid Kerr College Grandstand.
