Lovesick is a British sitcom . The first season originally aired on Channel 4 from October 2 through November 6, 2014 under the name Scrotal Recall . In 2016, Netflix took over the series and commissioned a second season, which was produced by Clerkenwell Films and BBC Worldwide . The second season was released on November 17, 2016, the third season on January 1, 2018 worldwide on Netflix.
action
The series follows Dylan, who after a chlamydia infection tries to inform all of his previous sex partners in alphabetical order. His encounters with these women are usually told in flashbacks. In addition, his roommate Luke and his former roommate Evie, who apparently was secretly in love with him for a long time, play a big role in his life. Especially the relationship with Evie is more in the focus of the series, as she is engaged and a love affair between Dylan and her seems hopeless.
reception
The Guardian praises the series for its "infectious concept that ingeniously allows a wide range of embarrassing social situations to be examined". The series was also nominated for two BAFTA Scotland Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Director (TV) .
