Low Rock Castle was a country house historic building of rank in Portstewart in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland . In 2001 it was completely demolished.

history

The house, which was originally crenellated , was completed around 1820. In 1835 the future General Field Marshal George Stuart White ( VC ) was born there, who commanded the garrison during the siege of Ladysmith in the Second Boer War . The house was completely demolished in 2001.
