The Lower Lake Hamberg is the northernmost and, like its English name suggests, the lowest location of Hamberg Lakes to South Georgia in the South Atlantic . The irregularly shaped lake is around 1.2 km long and 300 m wide. It lies west of the Hestesletten and southeast of the Junction Valley .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2004. It is named after the Swedish geographer, mineralogist and Arctic explorer Axel Hamberg (1863–1933).
