The Luba Shankadie ax has an iron, curved, pointed and awl-like blade. The blade is square in cross section and forged thin and pointed towards the front. The blade is attached to a wooden handle . The upper part of the booklet has the shape of a human head. The booklet is round and becomes thinner towards the end. The Luba ax is used by the Luba ethnic group.
