Lucas Ruiz Alonso (born March 7, 1996 in Las Piedras ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.84 meter tall defensive player Ruiz Alonso has been in the squad of the Uruguayan first division team River Plate Montevideo since the 2013/14 season . He made his debut in the 2014/15 season at the age of 18 on September 22, 2014 under coach Guillermo Almada in the Primera División , when he came on for Robert Flores in the 74th minute of the 3-1 home win against Centro Atlético Fénix . In the 2014/15 season he was used twice (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. During the 2015/16 season, he has made nine further premier league appearances (no goal) and one (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2016 . In the 2016 season he was used twice (no goal).
