Lucius Attidius Cornelianus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucius Attidius Cornelianus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

Through military diplomas , e.g. Some of them are dated September 24, 151, it is documented that Cornelianus 151 was a suffect consul with Marcus Cominius Secundus ; the two presumably took office on July 1 of that year. Another diploma and an inscription prove that he was governor ( Legatus Augusti pro praetore ) of the province of Syria from 156/157 to 162 .
