Lucius Caecilius Vegetus
Lucius Caecilius Vegetus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .
A dedicatory inscription found at the Alauna fort shows that Vegetus was prefect of the Cohors I Delmatarum around 139/165 , who at that time was stationed in the province of Britannia .
