Lucius Domitius Paris
The actor Lucius Domitius Paris († 67 AD ) was a slave and later freedman of Domitia Lepida , the aunt of the Roman emperor Nero .
As an actor, Paris attracted the attention of Nero, who was enthusiastic about the theater business, and gained such great influence at the imperial court through his favor that he was even able to accuse the Empress Mother Agrippina of attempting to overthrow with impunity.
In 67 a quarrel broke out with Nero, who then had Paris executed.
