Lore Benz

Lore Benz (* 1962 ) is a German classical philologist .

After studying at the University of Freiburg was 1991 Eckard Lefèvre Dr. phil. PhD . She then worked as an academic adviser at the University of Freiburg , where she completed her habilitation .

In 1997 Lore Benz went to Kiel University as a C3 professor for classical philology . In 2001 she moved to Bielefeld University as a C4 professor .

Her main research interests are Roman comedy and the relationship between orality and written form in ancient literature.
