Lucius Iulius Messala Rutilianus

Lucius Iulius Messala Rutilianus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

Two military diplomas dated August 11, 192 prove that Rutilianus 192 was a suffect consul with Gaius Aemilius Severus Cantabrinus .

  1. In the diploma there are inconsistencies between the dates. According to Paul Holder, it is probably around the year 192. The EDCS date is 193.
