The Ludwig-Windthorst-Schule Hannover is a secondary and secondary school that will expire by the end of the 2010s, and since the 2014/15 school year has been transitioning to a high school with a high school offer. history

The school emerged from the Catholic elementary school on Bonifatiusplatz in the List district, founded in 1902 as Bürgererschule 23, which was renamed Bonifatiusschule in 1967, and from which the fifth to ninth grades split off in 1977 and moved to their new, current location as Ludwig-Windthorst- School were recombined, while the first four grades remained in the list in the form of a primary school.

The Ludwig-Windthorst-Schule is the first and so far the only secondary school in Hanover and also the only secondary and secondary school as well as the only church-sponsored secondary school in the entire Hanover region . The principal is Heike Braun.

In the 2014/15 school year, the Ludwig-Windthorst-Schule Hannover claims to have 810 students in 36 classes. The main school area is currently in two classes, the secondary school area in four classes. In the new secondary school, students of all levels are taught six times together.
