Ludwig Eduard Lütke
Ludwig Eduard Lütke (born February 26, 1801 in Berlin ; † March 10, 1850 there ) was a German vedute painter and lithographer.
He learned the painting trade from his father, the painter Peter Ludwig Lütke (1759–1831).
Ludwig Eduard Lütke created vedute and landscape pictures, mainly from Berlin, Silesia and Pomerania , in oil and watercolor. In addition to the large-format works, he also created lithographs , including the “Album of Berlin and Potsdam in thirty-two original views” (with F. Meyer).
Many of his works were printed in the Royal Lithographic Institute in Berlin.
