Aviation clerk is a recognized training occupation in Germany.
education
The training generally lasts three years. A shortening of the training duration due to corresponding regulations or the early admission to the examination according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) is possible.
Aviation salespeople are trained at airlines and airport companies.
tasks
The area of work of aviation salespeople includes planning and organizing the transport of people and goods, advising customers, and reserving and selling flight tickets.
Aviation salespeople also deal with airport expansion programs, airport investments , purchasing, human resources, controlling , finance / accounting, marketing , specialist logistics, ground handling services, traffic / terminal management, real estate and facility management.
history
The profession of aviation clerk has existed since 1957 and celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2017.
