Lufu

The street district Lufu ( Chinese 鹿阜街道 , Pinyin Lùfù Jiēdào ) is the seat of government of the Shilin der Yi Autonomous County , which belongs to the administrative area of the city of Kunming in the southwest Chinese province of Yunnan .

Lufu is located in the west of the autonomous region on the middle reaches of the Ba Jiang . It has an area of 86.7 km² and 50,180 inhabitants (2004), 6801 of whom are ethnic minorities, mainly Yi. The lowest point of the municipality is 1666 m above sea level, the highest 2076.4 m.
