The stone box ( English stone cist ) on the Lugmore Hill is located in the Town Country Lugmore ( Irish to log Mór ), ( German  "big cave" ) southwest of Tallaght in County South Dublin in Ireland . It is a good example of a Bronze Age Irish stone box .

The four sides of the stone box are formed by large slabs that form a rectangular frame one meter long and 80 cm wide. The box about 70 cm deep. Their bottom is filled with stones. The capstone lies with the flat bottom side up, next to the open grave. Its top (hidden in the picture) is curved.

The approximately 700 stone boxes on the island are distributed asymmetrically; their frequency is significantly higher in the east of the island. The boxes are generally located on ridges or hills at heights between 30 and 180 m above sea level.
