Stone boxes serve as graves and were created in Europe from the middle Neolithic . German gallery graves and Danish grave boxes are sometimes also referred to as stone boxes . Systems with a stone box as a supplement (e.g. cairns , roasts , stone circles ) or other objects are not dealt with here.
