Lo Pou dolmen

The recessed dolmen of Lo Pou (also called Coffre de Lo Pou or Cista de Lo Pou ) is a stone box of the Solsonès type, north of Eyne in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

It is located at 1587 m above sea level, west of the Partida de la Llosa, and 650 meters south-east of the dolmen of La Borda . The roughly square stone box of around 1.5 × 1.5 m has two 20 to 30 cm thick side stones, one of which is a significantly higher end plate and two sides are made of dry masonry .
