Culduthel stone chest
The Culduthel Stone Box is a short, Bronze Age stone box located near the Culduthel Farm, about 3 miles south of Inverness and north of the B8082 (road) in Scotland . She was discovered by a farmer near the River Ness.
The stone box contained a crouched female skeleton, a necklace or belt made of pitch charcoal, including a V-shaped perforated toggle, a small piece of obsidian , a fragment of a bronze awl, and pieces of charcoal . The finds are in the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) and the University of Aberdeen Anatomy Museum .
South of the B8082, very close by is the Clava Cairn of Culduthel.
