The Yxhult Stone Box is located near Hällabrottet in Örebro County and the historic Närke Province in Sweden . Yxhult is the remainder of one of the few stone boxes from the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (2400–1500 BC) in the region.

The megalithic stone box of the hills of stones and earth, all cover stones and the entrance stone with the missing soul hole ( Swedish gavelhål - German  gable hole ). In Yxhult there are said to have been numerous stone boxes that have run out except for two. In the entire historical province of Närke, there are 20 stone boxes, three of which have a soul hole, which is more common in western Sweden. The Yxhult stone chest was excavated in 1902 and 1961. The archaeologists found teeth and bones of humans and animals, but no grave goods.

In Yxhult there is a 1.65 m high rune stone (No. Nah 9) made of gray sandstone from around 1000 AD.
