Stone box from Bögebacka

The Bögebacka stone box is located east of Hunnebostrand in Västergötland in Sweden and dates from the late Neolithic around 1700 BC. Chr.

The stone box has a narrow curb chain made of twelve boulders, one of which has fallen over. It lies without capstone in the remains of a hill about 10.0 × 7.0 m. The chamber has a clear width of approximately 4.0 × 1.5 m.

There is an Iron Age burial ground nearby .
